About the Review

Analysis That Moves With the News.

The Sentinel Review is SRPI’s policy-oriented publication, serving as a forum for timely analysis and commentary on counterintelligence and national security issues. Published on Substack, the Review bridges rigorous research and accessible scholarship — making national security analysis available to policymakers, practitioners, academics, and informed citizens alike.

Where the Sentinel Journal publishes full peer-reviewed academic research, the Review prioritizes clarity, timeliness, and practical relevance — shorter pieces that respond to current developments, policy debates, and emerging security challenges. Think policy brief, not academic paper, though the analytical standard remains high.

The Review also promotes informed debate through academic discussions, public events, and research engagements across universities and policy institutions. All content is nonpartisan, open-access, and based exclusively on publicly available information.
