The Sentinel Research & Policy Institute is an independent, Delaware-incorporated nonprofit dedicated to strengthening America’s national security through creative, nonpartisan research and education — developed entirely outside of government.

Why We Exist
SRPI advances U.S. national security through creative, interdisciplinary research and education. We focus on counterintelligence, information defense, and strategic statecraft — providing applied analysis, public education, and collaborative research that supports the resilience of democratic institutions.
Founded by doctoral scholars and advanced researchers from the Institute of World Politics, SRPI brings together graduate fellows, practitioners, and interns to study emerging threats and develop innovative, non-governmental solutions grounded in rigorous scholarship.

Volunteer Roles
Doctoral Volunteers
Lead working groups and research projects, host and contribute to the Common Ground podcast, peer review articles for the Sentinel Review and Sentinel Journal, and mentor graduate contributors across SRPI programs.
Graduate Student Volunteers

No SRPI products should be interpreted as the professional opinions or official positions of any government agency.
SRPI is committed to maintaining academic integrity and ensuring that all research is conducted using publicly available sources. No government, sensitive, or classified information is used in the development of SRPI products. All findings, analyses, and recommendations are derived exclusively from open-source materials to uphold transparency and avoid conflicts of interest.
