Volunteer with SRPI

The Sentinel Research & Policy Institute (SRPI) relies on dedicated volunteers who share a commitment to rigorous research, ethical engagement, and the defense of American democratic institutions. Our volunteers support SRPI’s mission by contributing time, expertise, and creativity to research projects, publications, educational initiatives, and public engagement efforts.
Volunteering with SRPI offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in national security research, counterintelligence studies, strategic analysis, communications, and nonprofit operations. Volunteers work alongside doctoral scholars, graduate researchers, and experienced practitioners in a professional, mission-driven environment.
What to Expect
Volunteer roles at SRPI are unpaid and do not constitute employment. Volunteers do not receive compensation, benefits, or employee status and serve at the discretion of SRPI leadership. Participation is flexible and may vary based on project needs, organizational priorities, and individual availability.
Our Standards
All volunteers are expected to conduct themselves professionally and in a manner that reflects positively on SRPI, its leadership, and its mission. Because SRPI operates in the national security and counterintelligence space, integrity, discretion, and respect for differing viewpoints are essential.
